Skratch Awards - November

Welcome to the Skratch Awards, a celebration of everything that was great in golf this month.

Sweetest Win(s) - Hideki Matsuyama

Hero - Win
Taiheiyo Masters - Win
WGC - HSBC - Win
CIMB - 2nd
Japan Open - Win

The flood gates have opened wide for Hideki. Late 2016 will be known as a hallmark period in career of the 24-year-old from Ehime.

This ...

… and this sum it up his last few weeks pretty well.

Complete monster, sure to make a ton of noise in 2017.

Other nominee: HV3 - Australian PGA

Nothing tastier than sweet, sweet revenge. Harold got his the same tournament where he lost in a playoff in 2015.

Coolest of all, he had a very solid final round to seal the deal.

Other nominee: Bernhard Langer - Schwab Cup (again)

We're not even going to try to explain how incredible this is ...

Bernhard has set the bar wayyyyyyyyy high.

Now, if we could only land him in one of our Champions Dinner series ...

Other nominee: Henrik Stenson - Race to Dubai

Stenson is giving every golfer either entering or in their 40s a lot of hope. First, he wins his first major at The Open, only to follow it up with winning the Race to Dubai.

It's far and away the best year of his long career.

And this certainly doesn't suck, either ...

And when you're that good, all the cool kids want to hang out with you ...

Most Hype Comeback: Tiger (duh)

After an excruciatingly long year and three months, the Sunday red was finally back in action in the Bahamas, and all of us couldn't have been more stoked.

Things may have gotten off to a slow start…

...but TW eventually got into a rhythm, and all of us were mesmerized.

Things got especially crazy on Friday, where he played by himself and shot 65 without a bogey.

But no moment made the hair on our necks stand up than this unbelievable par save on 16:

But with the good, also came the bad ...

Sure, the week could have gone better, but considering it had been 466 days since the last time Tiger teed it up competitively, none of us are complaining. We're just happy to see him back.

Watching four rounds of Tiger again was awesome, and we can’t wait to see more of this guy, finally playing healthy in 2017 (fingers crossed):
